U.S. News & World Report announced the results of its comprehensive survey to identify the top children’s hospitals in the country in ten pediatric specialties. Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego achieved rankings in six of the ten specialties. With more than 200 children’s hospitals in the United States, the top rankings place Rady Children’s among the nation’s elite.
The 2009 edition of America’s Best Children’s Hospitals, the most extensive listing of its kind, ranked hospitals in cancer, diabetes and endocrine disorders, heart and heart surgery, kidney disorders, neonatal care, neurology and neurosurgery, orthopedics, respiratory disorders, and urology.
