North Coast Health Center is Home to 23 of This Year’s “Top Doctors”
San Diego County Medical Society and San Diego Magazine Reveal 2013 Results of Peer Nominations
ENCINITAS, Calif. – October 25, 2013 – Each year, the San Diego County Medical Society (SDCMS), in collaboration with San Diego Magazine, honors the “Top Doctors” in San Diego County, as recognized by their peers. This year, North Coast Health Center, the largest outpatient medical facility in coastal North County San Diego, is pleased to announce that 23 of its physicians have been named a “Top Doctor”.

The voting process is as follows: Any board-certified physician in San Diego may vote for any board-certified doctors who practice within San Diego County to whom they would refer their patients and family members. Voting is open to all physicians, not just members for the Medical Society.
In 2013, more than 1,300 physicians voted with a selection rate of 7.4 percent. Each selectee was then reviewed by SDCMS to confirm his or her board certification, Medical Board of California standing, and current practice status. This year’s process resulted in 749 physicians being honored by their peers.
